Ist die PCTV Sat von Pinnacle auch kompatibel mit VDR und Linux ?

Hallo Boardercrime,

Ich selber hatte mal diese TV-Karte.

Vergiss es, vorher fallen Frösche vom Himmel

Vielleicht hat sich ja was getan in diese Richtung, aber ich befürchte das sich da nicht viel geändert hat. Pinnacle hat da sein ganz eigenes Süppchen gekocht.

Vertickere die Pinnacle lieber bei Ebay und kaufe Dir eine Technotrend oder Haupauge. Oder Du behälst sie und setzt sie unter Windows ein, da verrichtet sie den Dienst ausgezeichnet.

Vielen dank für die Auskunft.
Als Linuxler wird man vorsichtiger wenn's um Hardware geht und darum hab ich die Karte selbstverstänlich noch NICHT gekauft..
Werde mir wahrscheinlich die Nexus kaufen da die Technotrend in der Schweiz nicht erhältich ist...

Jein, ich habe eine Technotrend Version 1.5, ist aber fast baugleich mit der Nexus, ausser das die Nexus keinen J2 hat oder wie das heisst, wo man das RGB-Signal und digitale Signale ableiten kann.

Kannst Du wirklich keine Technotrend in der Schweiz besorgen? Ich meine, die Schweiz liegt ja nicht in Timbuktu

Die Technotrend ist nicht nur günstiger, sondern hat wie schon geschrieben, diesen J2.

Hmm, könntest Du noch mit einer kleinen Erklärung herauskommen?

Hab auch noch so eine Karte rumliegen und so ganz alleine lief sie nicht unter Suse 9.1 oder muß man die besonders installieren?

Die wurde überhaupt nicht erkannt

ist zwar ein wenig spät die Antwort aber:

Ich habe die pctv sat als zweit Karte in meine Activy eingebaut und das einzige was man machen muss ist den dvb-treiber "rcdvb" zweimal starten.
Nach dem zweiten starten des DVB Treibers wird die Karte dann erkannt.

Ansonsten funktioniert die Karte bei mir.

ich hoffe mir kann jemand helfen .. ich bin gerade dabei die PCTV Sat als Budget Karte einzubinden .. leider will das nicht so wie es soll

Die Karte wird einwandfrei von Yast erkannt als TV-Karte als auch DVB-Karte !

ich habe laut einigen infos hier im Board folgende Module nach geladen :

modprobe dvb-bt8xx
modprobe cx24110
modprobe bttv i2c_hw=1 card=94

so weit so gut ...
allerdings kann ich im VDR nicht DVB 2 auswählen also als Primary Interface oder sonst was.

Mein System : Suse 9.2 Standard Kernel 2.6.8.24 , VDR 1.3.22 ..

leider habe ich nicht genug Geld für ne Nova oder SS2

So ich bin ein Schritt weiter ..das Problem lag am Suse Kernel der nicht kompatible war ..habe das ganze dann mit Kernel 2.6.11 getestet und VDR hat die Karte einwandfrei erkannt .

Nur wenn ich primary Interface auf 2 setze bekomme ich immer noch kein Bild.

Ich gehe jetzt zum testen davon aus das der Tuner der TT defekt ist und schließe nur die PCTV an.

Muss ich die channels.conf noch umändern ? bzw Sender neu suchen lassen ??

Irgendwie komme ich nicht weiter

die Karte wird ohne Probleme in VDR erkannt , aber ich kriege kein Bild hin .. der bleibt schwarz .. obwohl beim Sendersuchlauf Programme gefunden werden und auch VDR fügt neue Sender hinzu , aber wenn ich die anwähle erscheint das OSD mit EPG aber sonst nix.

Die Karte habe ich mal unter Windows getestet und hatte 1A Bild !

das stimmt schon aber dass die Karte nicht FF hat/ist , sondern mir gehts darum dass die Budget Karte erstmal was empfängt ..und das ganze soll natürlich bei der FF-Karte ausgeben werden.

Also im Klartext ..die FF gibt was aus was die Budget Karte empfangen soll

Sender werden gefunden , aber es scheint kein TV Bild . EPG ja !

Hast Du mal versucht einfach was aufzunehmen?? VDR benutzt doch immer zuerst Nicht-FF-Devices zu nehmen.

das habe ich ganz versäumt.. ich bin davon ausgegangen dass VDR das Signal auch ohne Probleme von der budget Karte nimmt und es an der FF ausgibt ..

bis ich vorhin diesen Beitrag las :

Also Aufnahme klappt hervorragend,

allerdings wundert mich der Empfang .. bei der TT 1.5 fast alles im Grünenbereich und bei der PCTV alles so im Gelb/roten Bereich !

wohl gemerkt das selbe Kabel vielleicht ein Problem mit Diseqc

die Karte soll jedenfalls Diseqc 1.0 verstehen.
